Voyageur Park ( Whittier in the summer) transforms into Activity Central where Metis and First nations , the founding cultures of the Red River Settlement come to life. This is where you’ll hear music of old , enjoy traditional cuisine see sensational shows and snow sculptures. You’ll be taken back into yesteryear to appreciate the history of Manitoba’s past.
With so much to do , the question might be, is ten days enough? So much to see and do like the first ever wood carving challenge; kids will love a redesigned winter playground- towers, tunnels and hills to climb; Market days will offer handmade arts and crafts; see a giant mosaic honoring Tommy Prince ; Huge entertainment tents and much more.
