Unbelievable Changes at The Manitoba Museum on Main Street!

Millions are being poured into re-development of our MANITOBA MUSEUM . Thanks to private donors, the stories of Manitoba will come to life! 19 million dollars will see upgrades to nearly half the public galleries.

Upcoming are The Legacies of Confederation, The Urban Gallery depicting Winnipeg in the gateway-to-the –West days, Incorporation of indigenous contributions , and much more , all enhanced by multi-media technology. A new Commons and Science Center will enhance the block-long footprint next to the Concert Hall.

Come MAY, just in time for summer and never seen in Winnipeg, “The World’s Giant Dinosaurs” will open.ENORMOUS in size and we’ll be up close and personal. More than 20 skeletons will be featured. Expect fossils, robotics, and videos plus an actual Dino Dig. The fact that a consultant to the movie  Jurassic Park has been brought in means a Spectacular Exhbit will be the result.
