Tomorrow, The world’s oldest organized snowmobile races begin. It’s the CPTC this weekend , where North America’s best racers reach speeds over 170 kph , vying for a purse over 115 thousand dollars. Driver skill levels will range from 3 to 60 plus. Even MOTORCYCLES, will be racing on the Glare Ice Oval.
For a small fee, you can watch the action from track-side in the warmth of your vehicle , otherwise Grandstand Parking will be free. Another first is Friday under the lights night Racing, under the lights , followed by Fireworks and a Big Community Social. For added comfort there are heated indoor wash-rooms , concessions and a large warm-up refreshment building which shows live racing on the BIG screen.
