What Is Fashion Anyways?!?

Summer is here, the sun is shining, and I’ve traded in my jeans for shorts.  Cargo shorts to be exact.  And ever since I’ve done this, Brody and Jess have been busting my chops about them.

Apparently Cargo Shorts are a fashion “faux pas”.  In fact they made THIS list of things that adults should stop wearing.

Now, I’ve never pretended to be fashionable.  I like to say I have the “Dad Wardrobe”.  Most of my clothes from Costco or Walmart (judge me if you must), but after seeing some of the things that are considered “cool” or  “high fashion” these days…I’ll stick with my cargo shorts, thank you very much.

I just don’t get it.  Apparently it’s now more fashionable for grown men to dress like giant babies, than it is to wear shorts with a few extra pockets.  If you missed it a couple weeks back, Rompers for men are now a thing.

Or how about this… A clothing company in L.A. called Hologram City just released new LACE SHORTS for men.  They come in pastel colors . . . they’re VERY see-through . . . and you can buy a matching lace button-down shirt to go with them.

And those have ZERO pockets!  I’ll take my cargo shorts any day of the week over those.  And trust me you’d rather see me in cargo shorts than lace shorts.
