Earlier this week, a video went viral of Kesha asking Jerry Seinfeld for a hug at a red carpet event and he stepped back and repeatedly said “No Thanks!”

The world went crazy! Kesha fans were wishing career death on him but they did it before hearing the whole story. Seinfeld didn’t know who she was! He told Extra that they laughed about it off-camera right after it happened.  But he added that he still didn’t hug her.

He said, quote, “I was right in the middle of an interview, it was a little off.  When you get to be my age and you’ve done a couple things, you have your own reality.  In my reality . . . I don’t hug a total stranger.

“I have to meet someone, say hello.  I gotta start somewhere . . . hug isn’t first moment of a human, two humans.  I never did that . . . I got a borderline harassment case here!  I’m sure I would’ve liked her, but I need to know, who are you?”

He also said, quote, “I’m 63, I don’t know every pop star . . . I don’t know everyone.”
