Nine in ten women have at least one risk factor for Heart Disease !

Over 25,000 women die each year in Canada from heart disease. In fact it’s the # 1 cause of death for women.  Seven times more women die from heart disease than breast cancer. New stats indicate women are referred less than men for in-hospital treatment and may be one of the reasons that heart disease is often missed in women.

A 2018 report from Heart and Stroke showed early heart attack signs were missed in 78% of women and remains under studied , under diagnosed and under treated.
