Join the fight against Cancer and become a volunteer for the Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days beginning on Friday. You’ll make a big difference helping fundraise for life – saving research. Three hundred thousand was raised last year alone. You can help by delivering supplies, pins, and flowers to various street sale locations. Here are some examples of how funds are used.
The power of a TWOONIE will pay for one microscope slide used for testing Cancer Cells. Daffodils come in a bunch of ten, and sell for 7 dollars. Selling two bunches allows the transport of a patient to treatment. 10 Bunches will buy 140 test tubes used by researchers. 40 bunches pay for the cost of Cancer Cells needed in a particular research project.
Passionate volunteers who wish for a Cancer Free world can make a commitment by calling 204-789-0887 or simply email firstname.lastname@example.org. or email@example.com . It takes about 400 people to step up to help. PLEASE be one of those today.
