You won't believe the crowds !
No, it's NOT the Fringe Festival , but it has become a Winnipeg summer tradition .
It's BALLET IN THE PARK , performed at Assiniboine Park's Lyric theatre, 7:30 next week , from July 25th -27th.
Ballet in the Park attracts thousands of Manitobans and tourists to watch FREE performances by the World famous dancers from The ROYAL WINNIPEG BALLET , as well as the recreational division students.
The Ballet Schools Director says ," it's a wonderful example of how ballet and dance can be enjoyed by everyone and they're thrilled to show the community the amazing talents of the artists."
Please remember to bring your own lawn chair , or a blanket to sit on .
Coming earlier is wise, because you will be able to sit closer to the stage, otherwise be prepared to sit further back . Spectator numbers are huge .
