Spin 4 Kids!

Posted By: Brody Jackson · 2/27/2014 8:44:00 AM

I'm going to be honest here. I haven't ridden an actual bike in at least 10 years, so when Ryan from Good Life Fitness asked me if I'd join his Spin 4 Kids team, I had to make sure it was a stationary bike so I wouldn't make a fool of myself. Thankfully, the bikes we use are the exercize ones, but I'll still manage to make a fool of myself somehow. Perhaps I'll accidentally sit the wrong way, or manage to faceplant the handle bars, or just simply faint due to my sweet out of shape body. But hey, I'm always willing to make a fool out of myself if it helps the kids! How about you? Do you have some time to get involved in Spin 4 Kids this Saturday?

Here's your basic info:

Date: Saturday, March 1st

I decided rather than ease myself back into the cold Manitoba winter, I’d slap myself right across the face with the harsh air by playing hockey. Surprisingly it wasn’t the temperature that was the issue, it was trying to get my fattened up behind off the ice when I fell repeatedly. Apparently 10 days in the sunshine makes you forget how to skate…maybe that’s why the Jets play terrible in Florida.

There were two things I that really surprised me about the trip down south: 1)While zip lining, my brother and sister and Dad learned that Florida alligators will eat their babies if they don’t leave the house by the time they’re 1 year old. If at some point down the road I become a parent, I’m going to ...
