My 6 favorite Christmas Movies
6. Jingle All The Way:
Sinbad, Phil Hartman and The Govenator are all batteling to get the last "turboman" doll for their kids. I know this isn't a beloved classic but for anyone like me who's gone WAY out of their way to get that perfect gift for someone it has a lot of relatable scenes.
Blueout Blowout
Let's Go Bombers! Around Labour Day this looked like a throw away season but If someone would have offered me a chance to make the playoffs by beating the TigerCats at Canad Inns I would have taken it and ran. Win or Lose though, I want to publicly thank Dancin' Gabe for another hard working year. Whenever he comes by my section I always shout out a salute to Dancin' Gabe and make sure he knows we appreciate his efforts. I was thinking that his parents really pigeon holed his career choices when they named him Dancin'. Fun Dancin' Gabe Fact: He has a successful brother named Accountin' Gabe and a sister named Secretaryin' Gabe.
Secretaryin' is such a pretty name for a girl.
Go Blue & Gold. If all goes according to plans, we'll be doing it again next week.
An Awards Show Worth an Award
The Labour Day Classic
This is my favorite time to be a Blue Bomber fan. Even when the season is going lousy (which unfortunatly is the case this year) My annual trip to Regina is the most fun I have all Summer. On a Saturday on the The Labour day Weekend in Regina the streets are filled with Bomber fans stopping traffic, chanting from hotel balconies and high fiving strangers that are also decked in Blue and Gold. As impressive as our passion for the Bombers is, it cannot be compared with the Rider Pride displayed on game day. On Sunday Bombers' Colours are out numbered 10-1 and Taylor Field becomes a very hostile, scary place to be supporting the Blue.
This will be my eighth consecutive game and my win to loss record is 2-5. Even if I witness loss number 6 I'm positive the trip will be one to remember and that I'll be counting down the days until Labour Day 2010.
