Friday August 17
9 a.m.
Lockport Catfish Tournament starts ($20,000 grand prize)

starting at 7 p.m.
MAIN STAGE: Ron Loutit, Hurricane Jenny and Jason Kirkness.  Hosted by Garry Roy the “Canadian Hillbilly” as seen on Canada’s Got Talent

Saturday August 18
7 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Lockport Rivers Edge Run half marathon and 30 km races, followed by 5 km “fun run” at 9 a.m.

1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Family entertainment including clowns, drum workshops, face painting, mechanical bull rides and much more!

1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Kids fishing clinics presented by Fish Futures

3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“Bringing Nashville North” – Nashville style acoustic performances by local singer songwriters

6:30 p.m. until late evening
MAIN STAGE: Jason Petric, Kimberly Dawn, Keith and Renee, Jerry Sereda, plus fireworks


Sunday August 19
1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Family entertainment including skateboard workshops, glitter tattoos, crafts, inflatable Sea Monster Tunnel, miniature train ride and much more!

1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Kids fishing clinics presented by Fish Futures

2 p.m. until evening
MAIN STAGE: Sol James, Circuit Breaker, Foster Martin Band. Hosted by Energy 106’s Wayne Yaskiw

4 p.m.
Catfish Tournament closes ($20,000 grand prize)


The Lockport Dam Family Festival is held at the federal park near the St. Andrews Lock & Dam. The Lockport Dam and Bridge is approximately 15 minutes from Winnipeg’s North Perimeter.  Lockport is nestled between Main Street (Highway #9) and Henderson Highway (PR204) along Highway #44. The all-volunteer festival is organized by the non-profit Lockport Community Marketing Corporation (LCMC), an organization dedicated to promoting the Lockport area through partnerships with businesses and other community members.
