The Waking Crew

Today's Country, QX104, is thrilled to announce that Former Winnipeg Blue Bomber, Recording Artist and close friend of the QX Waking Crew Troy Westwood is joining us to co-host the morning show with Caroline Hunter. Troy is helping out on a short term basis by hosting the QX Waking Crew, a position that has been vacant since QX104 veteran Ron Able passed away quickly and unexpectedly after a short battle with cancer last month.

Troy Westwood is looking forward to the challenge saying "I've always enjoyed my time co-hosting for fun with the QX104 Waking Crew. It's always seemed like the best job in the world and I'm thrilled to be able to get a little taste of it. The QX104 Waking Crew are great friends of mine - and if sitting in for the next little while helps in any way, I'm glad I can be there for them.

QX104's Mike Alan, who has been helping out on the Waking Crew will be taking over the news desk for Boyd Kozak over the next little while. Boyd will be off for planned bypass surgery, which he assures us will enable him to be a 20-year old again.
