QX104.1 is the only Winnipeg Radio station offering Today's Country Music.   Family Friendly and community oriented, it's the radio station everyone in the household can agree on.

QX104.1 began broadcasting in 1981 as an Easy Listening station.   As Country music's popularity continued to soar, it became evident that Winnipeg needed a Country Music station that could broadcast in Stereo.  In 1986, the station's format flipped to Country Music and hasn't looked back since.

Committed and connected to the community, Today's Country, QX104.1 participates in numerous on-going partnerships with Winnipeg charities.

Every year QX104.1 provides holiday food, toys and cash for needy families.  QX104.1 holds its annual Radiothon for the Children's Hospital Foundation in Winnipeg.  QX104.1's morning show head up our annual participant drive for "Team Diabetes" annual fund-raising marathon, which raises over $200,000 annually.  As promotional partners for "Dreams Take Flight", the station is involved in assisting with the annual fund-raising efforts to send disadvantaged children to Disney World for a day.

Today's Country QX104.1 is the radio station that Winnipeg can wake up with, take to work, drive home and spend evenings and weekends with.  Listeners to the station get the best of Today's Country as well as Retro Country classics.  Special programs such as ‘Manitoba's Most Wanted' and ‘The Retro Country Café' are examples of the variety offered.

QX104.1 listeners are loyal listeners.  The station ranks at the top of FM radio stations in Winnipeg for Time Spent Listening, Market Share, Exclusive Reach and Audience Turnover for Adults 25-54 yrs.
