Step up to the plate for QX104’s inaugural Slo-Pitch 4 A Wish! This slow pitch tournament in support of Children’s Wish Manitoba will be held at John Blumberg Softball Complex September 15th to 17th, 2017. Space is limited and you don’t want to miss what’s going to be the fun family-friendly event of the season!
QX104 is pleased to announce our first entertainment act – Petric will take the stage, Saturday, September 16th! Stay tuned for more announcements.
Date: Sept 15-17, 2017
Location: John Blumberg Softball Complex
Cost: $100 per team to register plus $900 in donations/sponsorships (Teams must raise $1000 to participate)
To Sign up:
Team captains register their team for a $100 fee, that fee is non-refundable but also goes towards the team fundraising minimum goal which is $1000. Once a captain has registered a team, players will be able to join the team and begin fundraising the remaining $900 to meet the minimum fundraising goal of $1000.
$1000 may sound like a lot, but if you break it down, a team of 10 players makes it $100 each, 15 players reduces it to $66.67 per person. The initial $100 registration fee is tax receipt eligible, and anyone who makes a donation to support a player of $20 or more will also receive a tax receipt.
Teams that reach the $1000 minimum fundraising goal and are eligible to play in the tournament will receive 15 weekend pass wristbands, additional weekend wristbands will be available for purchase at a cost of $20 each. Children 12 and under accompanied by an adult are free. (These additional weekend pass wristbands will go on sale in August)
