Plenty of HE HO despite the lack of Snow !
By now most of the Festival du Voyageur Snow Sculptures have been reduced to piles of snow. That’s what happens when unseasonably warm temperatures fall over our city in February. Even so, crowds continue to pack the Whittier park venue. So many on Louis Riel Day, that ticket holders were turned away!
A new addition at the Main Gates is a portrait of our country’s most decorated War Hero, TOMMY PRINCE! Committee members decided to create the picture from hundreds of small pictures sent in by the general public to honor this Manitoba Veteran. A similar display on the adjoining gate shows the Image of Louis Riel.
With so many activities throughout the week, we should remind you to make Saturday night your evening to HE HO! It’s QX104 night, when Country Music rules the Investors Group Pembina Tent. Fun starts at 7pm. For all the information log on at info@heho.ca
