Running With The Dogs!
So, I went running with Nala for the first time ever. Yes, I’ve run without a dog before you jokester. But it has definitely been a long time. You see, I find running extremely boring. I admire those who are able to put on their shoes, throw on their favourite tunes, and book it out the door. If there’s a football, baseball, or soccer ball to chase, I’ll run. Otherwise, I’m happier going to the gym on the elliptical machine where I can watch sports highlights.
But that has changed, thanks to Nala. I enjoyed running with her. If you don’t like to run, get a dog! Here are the 5 reasons why you should run with a pup:
-They run with their tongues out, so they look just as exhausted as you are (even though they aren’t)
-They don’t talk to you while running. You’ve done that run with a friend before, where all they want to do is talk, but you’re too busy focused on not falling onto your face that you can’t contribute to the conversation.
-With four legs, they make running look super easy. Which, in turn, makes you subconsciously think that your run is easier. At least that’s what I told myself.
-They’re the best excuse to stop running. “Oh, you look tired and thirsty, don’t worry, we can take a break” . And you can do this over and over and over again and they won’t get mad at you!
