Canada is a consumer society and BRANDS are influential . The University of Victoria has just released it’s 2017- Gustavson Brand Trust Index . It lists the 10 most trusted brands in Canada , created by Professor Peter Gustavson of the University’s School of Business.
An INDEX established to raise awareness of the role TRUST plays in the minds of consumers when buying products. It measures the relationships between social equity, trust and advocacy among brands we know in Canada. Here is how it’s determined.
BRAND TRUST is the consumer’s perception of whether a brand is trustworthy and acts with integrity.
VALUES Based trust looks at a brand’s social responsibility.
Functional Trust is how well the brand’s product performs.
Relationship trust is how the brand interacts with its customers
Net Recommendations means whether consumers recommend the brand to others.
Using said guidelines, Canadians consider the following as the Ten Best!
