Cruisin’ Down the Crescent!
Working in this job, we are blessed to be a part of events we may not have been aware of before. It also gives us the opportunity to share said events with you, just in case you weren’t aware of them either. That being said, have you heard of “Cruisin Down the Crescent”. It’s been going on for awhile now (just a mere 21 years), and it’s one of the most entertaining walks/rides/rolls you can participate in! There’s surprises on nearly every block, for both you and the children to check out. There’s also a ton of entertainment before and after the actual “cruise” itself. This will be my fourth year hosting the event, and I love every minute of it. It’s a great excuse for a grown man to bring out the rollerblades and fall on his face. Jess will be joining me, not sure what her method of cruisin’ is as of yet, but I’m guessing it’ll be a traditional run…she won’t budge on the segway idea.
“Cruisin Down the Crescent” is a vital fundraiser for the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation and would love your support. The folks who are involved with the CRF are some of the most wonderful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. If you come on Sunday, you’ll see exactly how wonderful they are. You can also listen to our chat with Adell right here on this blog.
