Now You Know: Five Steps to A Better Sleep!
Five tips for you to sleep better, all given by sleep scientists, which sounds like a wonderful job by the way. I’m assuming during sleep science class, you just learn how to sleep…I would like a doctorate in sleep please, give me 7 years of studies. Anyways, give these a try tonight and let me know if it helps:
1)Cool down your brain: a study showed that if you keep your bedroom at a cooler temperature or sleep on a cooling mattress pad, you’ll have a better sleep. Good luck changing that thermostat, it may be safer to just stuff a sleeping bag with ice.
2)Take magnesium before sleep: helps you calm down, relax, chill, and then sleep!
3)Do this breathing technique: inhale and count to four, in your head, not out loud cause that’s difficult. Then hold your breath for the count of seven seconds, and then exhale to a count of eight…repeat until you fall asleep or pass out cause you lost count.
4)Sleep with your socks on: cold body, warm feet helps you sleep, and keeps your socks safe from your dog.
5)Splash your face with cold water: it will cause a shock and response to your nervous system, and can also be hilarious if your spouse says, “I can’t sleep”. So you throw cold water on their face, then they get mad and kick you to the couch and then have the bed all to themselves…and boom, a better sleep!
Try these five steps to help you sleep! Now you know, pass it along…
