Another accolade for the late Tommy Prince , our country’s most decorated indigenous veteran .The city re names the North Centennial Recreation Center as “ TOMMY PRINCE PLACE”
Dedication ceremonies held over the weekend heard dignitaries call Tommy a national and international icon of courage. Sergeant Prince fought in the Second World War as a member of the 2nd Battalion Princess Pat’s Light Infantry in the Korean conflict and through his service was recognized with 11 medals .
