Get a great DEAL on a bicycle this week-end!
Winnipeg is becoming a BIKE Riding city. Buying a bike can be expensive unless you attend this weekend’s annual Bicycle Auction at Terry Sawchuck Arena on Kimberly. Over 250 cycles to view and bid on.
The bikes are unclaimed from those stolen or left unclaimed which are gathered and made ready by the Winnipeg Repair, Education and Cycling Hub or WRENCH thru the UpCycle employment training program . This is the largest and best equipped community bike shop in Western Canada. Purchase of the ready-to ride bikes then go to supporting community bike program throughout the Winnipeg.
The Auction is a two day affair; This Saturday public viewing is early at 7am with auctioneering beginning at 9am . Viewing on Sunday begins at 10 am with auction starting at 10am. Pay by Cash , MasterCard , Visa , American Express and Interac ; Cheques not accepted. Bicycles will be sold as is and no warranty is given. Check out the FUN from a few years ago .
