Seniors , Sex and a Funeral-Final Production of the season at MTC!
Three Senior Citizens perform in MTC’s final production of the season. It’s “Morning After Grace”, about a man and woman waking up embarrassed after being intimate after a funeral. Ideal for Winnipeg Baby-Boomers who don’t appreciate their status as SENIORS! Playing one of those senior roles is actor Fiona Reid who’s starred in many productions including Televisions, King of Kensington and the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
Last night was opening night for the comedy, which will end MTC’s 60th season. The production runs about an hour and half without intermission and comes with a warning. Strong Language, partial nudity and simulated drug use, familiar to some Baby Boomers. If a grown up comedy about the not-so-secret-lives of seniors interests you, then get tickets. Sell-outs have been common this season and this play is predicted to do the same. Log on @royalmtc.ca seats
