Samsung has unveiled it’s 219-inch TV nicknamed ‘The Wall’
The CES show in Las Vegas is a showcase of all things tech. The latest, innovative technology is put on display and wows us all. For example, Samsung’s new TV nicknamed ‘The Wall’. Why is it nicknamed that? Because it’s probably on scale with (maybe bigger) the biggest wall in your home.
It’s 219-inches, which is just over 18 feet. Most ceiling heights in houses are eight feet. So it’s more than double that. HOW DOES THIS FIT IN A HOME?!
It has a MicroLED display — something Samsung calls the “forefront of the next screen revolution.” This MicroLED display is apparently made up of millions of microscopic LED chips, which produces vibrant colours in 4K High Def. Intense.
If this sounds like something you’d be into but maybe down’t have enough room for this beast, good news, ‘The Wall’ can expand or shrink to your viewing needs, or space needs (more likely an issue).
When the TV is off you can display photos or artwork on the screen, so basically you have a feature wall! A very, very expensive feature wall. Samsung has yet to tell us the price of this bad boy. It’s probably a lot. Just sayin’…
