Would you stay in this room? Looks nice enough, BUT when the lights go off , perhaps NOT! It’s Room 202 in The Fort Garry Hotel where history says a woman committed suicide years ago after hearing of her husbands’ death in a Horse-drawn cart accident. Her spirit is said to stand at the foot of the bed crying in a corner of the lounge and walking down the hallway.
It’s but one of many instances where Ghostly figures have been reported. Perhaps that’s why GOOGLE Canada , just named The Fort Garry, as number six on the list of our country’s 10 spookiest spots.
The hotel provides a pamphlet detailing many specters reported in bedrooms , phantoms in the dining room and strange sounds in the basement. Two other hotels include are mentioned , including sister hotels , Banff Springs in Alberta and Chateau Laurier in Ottawa. HauntedRooms.com or TripAdvisor.ca may offer more frightening information.
